We Have A Daddy And Husband Again!

As Dallin says in the cutest voice, "I did it!!!" Our family did it!! Today at 2, we are done with Ryan's crazy schedule of 6 days a week and 12 hours a day. It has been a long 7 and a half weeks. I can't believe today is the last day. There were times that were hard and frustrating but also times that I will cherish with the kiddos so much. I feel like Dallin has also grown these last 2 months. We told him he was the man of the house while Dad was gone. I loved the moments with Dallin when he would want me to rock him. That lasted only about a week but boy did I love that week of snuggling and rocking him. I also loved how when we read books, he would tell me he wanted to read me the book. I would sit there and just watch our sweet boy ramble off words. It also has seemed to click with Dallin and manners. He started to say sorry and please and thank you. We have been working on that for awhile but it seems to have clicked these last 2 months. Yesterday I cleaned our house. Jacob kept walking on my clean, wet floor and he would fall. I was getting a little mad at Jacob and as I picked him up to love him I heard Dallin say "Sorry mom. It's my fault." Boy has Dallin sure grown. I just wanted to pick him up and never let that boy of ours go. I also will cherish the moments when Dallin would sit next to me and look at me and start laughing. His laughing would make me laugh. One time Dallin and I were laughing and we couldn't stop. Ryan didn't understand what was so funny. With our Jacob, he sure has had to grow up these last 2 months with Hannah here. He couldn't be held and loved like he was used to. It was hard for him at first but he learned that he is a big boy. I will cherish the moments with Jacob when he would grab the remote or my phone and run. He would turn and give me this look and then start this infectious laugh. I found myself laughing and chasing him and loving it. I will also cherish the moments when I had a few tears and Jacob would come up to me and give me a kiss. He's such a sweet boy. It also never seemed to fail that when I checked on Hannah during a nap Jacob was right behind me doing his shhhhhhhh sound. It always made me smile. I sure love our boys!!! Our Hannah sure has grown too. She loves life and loves to be apart of our family. I learned so much about myself these last 2 months too. I learned to let the little things go and if I don't shower it will be ok. We can't wait for Ryan to be home and to enjoy him for a few days. I don't have to set his alarm or make his lunch!!!!! And Santa is coming tonight! I think I am the most excited about that!

3 months

Hannah is such a sweet, happy, easy going girl! We just love her so much! She has figured out there is a world around her these last 2 weeks. It has been so much fun!She will watch me, smile big at me, and has even started to talk to me. She is still sleeping through the night which has been heaven sent. She eats at around 8 and goes right down and gets up between 7 and 7:30. I'm so glad she has kept that up for the last month. I just love our little girl so much! I can't believe she is already 3 months!

I love how when she smiles, her whole face and body lights up!

Dallin is such a great big brother. He loves to put his blanket on her. He will even put her paci in her mouth when she is crying. The other day, we were going for a drive and he wanted to hold her hand so she would sleep. She was tired and crying and he kept saying "It's okay Princess!" I just love our kiddos! Hannah has even started to smile at Dallin which just melts my heart.

Another cute smile from our Princess!

Hannah will just chill and be a good girl if I need to do a few things. Soemtimes I feel bad because I have 2 boys that still me and she doesn't always get the attention. Jacob is getting better and learned that I can't always hold him. All I have to do is talk to her if I'm doing something and she will look for me and when she finds me I get big smiles!!

Our cute Princess!!!

What We Have Been Up To...

We have been staying busy lately. Here are a few things we have been up to...

* We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at Ryan's parents home. I think I heard 49 adults and many, many cute kiddos. I don't remember how many turkeys we had but several. It was a nice day spending time with loved ones.

* Jacob amazed me at Thanksgiving that he could stack pop cans. He got 4 or 5 high. I was impressed. He did that so many times- the things that entertain them.

* We had some sick kiddos which is never fun! Dallin threw up in the middle of one night and spent the next couple of days with, well, I'm sure you don't want the details. It was his stomach. I think we all got a little touch of what Dallin had. Hannah got another cold but just a little one this time.

*Dallin and Jacob have learned that it is fun to play together. My favorite is when Dallin hides and sits in a spot and yells for Jacob to find him. Jacob runs over laughing and both boys think it is soooo funny. Dallin always is in the same spot. It's so nice when they play nicely together!!!

* We put up Christmas decorations 2 weeks before Thanksgiving- is that against the rules??

* Dallin worked so hard on putting all of magnets on our fridge. He was so proud of himself when he was done. He won't let me take any off!

* Ryan has worked, worked, and worked some more! One more week of 6 days a week 12 hour days! 7 days left- let the countdown begin!

* Jacob got his 2 top molars and is now working on his 2 bottom molars- lucky Ryan he has missed that fun!!

* Dallin still loves preschool!! He wishes it was everyday. He made this bead candy cane and held onto it for several days. He even fell alseep holding it!

* On Dec. 7 Ryan's Grandpa passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family members. His funeral was Dec. 11. We love you Grandpa Great!! We took Ryan's cousin down to the valley. I sat in the backseat with the boys. Dallin held my hand most of the way down. He loves to hold my hand.

* On Dec 11 I was very blessed to be able to be in the Mesa Temple as Cindi, Rob, and their family were sealed for time and all eternity in the temple. We are so proud of your family and love you guys so much!! It was a circle of life day for me- funeral in the morning and sealing in the afternoon.

2 months

Today Hannah is 2 months. She is such a sweet girl and is already our Princess. Dallin has even started to call her Princess too. She has started to give us big smiles and Ryan can even get her to laugh. It is so fun to watch her with the boys. Sometimes the boys won't leave her side and she just watches them. I'm sure she can't wait to play with them. The last 3 days she has slept through the night- YEAH!!! Now I need to sleep better and Jacob's molars need to come in faster so he sleeps better. Overall, this little princess has changed our family and we are so blessed she is in it. We love you Hannah so very much!

Big smiles that I love!!

Sometimes for tummy time she will just chill there and be content.

Our 3 cute kiddos!

Hannah loves to watch her bouncer. She usually smiles when I start the lights and music.

Hannah is a good girl and loves to watch the world.

Jacob loves Hannah!

Dallin loves Hannah!

Hannah Nicole's Blessing

Today was a very special day! Ryan gave Hannah her blessing. The spirit was very strong and Ryan did a nice job! We were very blessed we had lots of family that were able to make it! We love our family!! Hannah is a sweet, little girl! She will be 7 weeks tomorrow. She now has a cold. We are hoping it clears up soon. My Aunt Lori made Hannah her beautiful blessing dress! I know it took her awhile to do it. Thank you so much Aunt Lori! You made it an even more special day!

I love the shoe socks my aunt sent with the dress- so, so cute!

We love you so very much Hannah! Thank you for blessing our family!!

Grandpa Great

We love you so very much Grandpa Great! Jacob is about 4 months old here!

Ryan Gary

I am so proud of Ryan!! He is the BEST Dad, husband, friend, and man I know! He has been working so hard to bring his cholesterol numbers down. About 5 months ago he got the news that they were very high. He cut out red meat, ate healthy, exercised, and started taking pills to try to lower his numbers. We just got the numbers back to see if he was on the right track. You want your number below 200 and he was 198. Wahoo!!! He dropped his numbers big time. He also lost 20 pounds. I'm so jealous!! Ryan always impresses me! He is always helping others and makes me want to be a better person. We love you Ryan!!!! Thanks for all you do for our family!

Tongue Tied

Boy am I glad last week is over and we all lived. Between croup and the hospital stay and then finding out Hannah was tongue tied, it was an exhausting week. I was glad when we got the okay from the doctor that Jacob could travel and was doing so much better. Ryan started a 7 week project today at work that has him working 6 days a week for 12 hours a day. I don't know who will be more tired- Ryan or me. So we headed for the valley for the weekend. Thursday night Wendi looked in Hannah's mouth and told us she was tongue tied. Her cute boy, Ethan, was tongue tied. That's where under your tongue you have a membrane that keeps your tongue from moving and cupping the bottle correctly. I had never heard of that before Wendi. I crossed my fingers I could get into the doctor that clipped Ethan's tongue because not all doctors do it. I was in luck and the doctor clipped Hannah last Friday. He said she had a pretty good tongue tie. That's why it would take her 25 min to eat 2 and half ounces. Then by the end of the day she was really gassy and a little grumpy. Her bedtime bottle was a struggle. But, overall she is a pretty good girl. I had no idea of being tongue tied and just thought she had gas at the end of the day. We had a rough couple of days but hopefully we can get back on track and life calms down. At the doctor last Friday she was 8 and half pounds and 21 and 3/4 in long. She has just started to really fill out this last week or so. She's just a cute girl that we all love so much. She loves to lay on our bed and watch the world and watch Dallin play on our bed. We are so blessed she is in our family!!

Hannah all snug and warm for a drive. A friend made her cute hat!!

Hannah snuggling on Ryan's shoulder!

Dallin loves when Hannah goes in and lays on his bed after naptime!

Croup + Hospital Stay = No Fun

With Dallin being sick, we knew the chances of Jacob getting sick were pretty good. Friday night it hit Jacob. It started off as a cold but by Sunday morning we had worries of croup. We weren't sure if he was just hoarse and didn't know what to do. He didn't sound good and his breathing was sounding worse and worse. I ended up taking Jacob to the emergency room in Roundvalley. They immediately started breathing treatments and gave him 2 big steriod shots to help his breathing. I knew he had gotten bad but I felt so bad when they told me he needed to stay overnight because his oxygen level was so low. I was so torn as to where I should be- with Jacob or with 5 week old Hannah. Then, the doctor came back and told me they were transfering us to the Showlow hospital because they had a pediatrician doctor there. They were going to take us there in an ambulance. Dallin was jealous. After many thoughts and talking to Ryan, I decided to stay with Jacob. I knew wherever I went I would probably feel bad I wasn't in the other place. I needed 2 of me!! But I also knew Hannah and Dallin were in great hands- Ryan is an awesome Dad! As Jacob and I left to go to Showlow the tears came. It hit me I was not going to be there for Hannah (that's how I felt) and I was also exhausted. Once we got there, the fun didn't stop for Jacob. They wanted to check for pneumonia and rsv so they stuck a tube down his throat. But it came back clear and his xrays of his lungs were clear so that was a blessing- just croup. We had a long night of oxygen on Jacob and me worrying. But we all survived. Monday morning they took the oxygen off him and we had to wait 4 long hours to make sure he was ok. Jacob was a trooper and were all glad when we were driving home as a little family again. I really hope the rest of the winter is a little calmer!!

Jacob riding in the ambulance with the fun oxygen that he hated and tried to pull off many times.

Jacob being a trooper in the hospital bed hoping the morning would go faster. He couldn't go very far because he had a wire hooked up to him to watch his numbers.

Not fun being sick

Poor Dallin!!! He woke up yesterday with a little fever and I could tell he just didn't feel well. After his nap, he got up with a higher fever and his voice was hoarse and he kept saying he was sick. He wanted to do lots of snuggling with me. I felt so bad for him. He told me his legs hurt and then that his feet hurt. He told Ryan when he got home that his ears hurt. I don't think he has an ear infection. He just has a cold with the body aches. He kept telling us to make him better- our poor guy! Just before bedtime he told me grapes would make him all better. Of course I gave him grapes. I was worried he wouldn't sleep well but he was just fine. As the day has gone on, he has gotten a little better. Another day or two and our Dallin will be back. Dallin rarely gets sick so this wasn't fun for him. Hopefully it's not the beginning to a fun winter of colds. I have tried to keep him away from Hannah as best as I could. He always loves to give her kisses and look at her so it has been hard. The weather here has turned pretty cold and we are getting in a storm. I'm not ready for the cold winter and keeping the boys inside all day long. They love being outside and being boys!! Here's our big man last night. He wanted me to keep putting this blanket on him. He calls it Mamma's blanket!

1 Month

Hannah is 1 month! The time has flown and she is getting bigger! Hannah is a sweet, precious girl that we all love so much! She loves to be in her swing or chilling in her boppy watching the world and her brothers. She is so close to smiling but we haven't gotten one yet. It is so cute to see her face light up and the smile is almost there. She does pretty good at night and sometimes just gets up 1 time to eat. Hopefully I get more of those nights. Hannah is such a blessing in our family! We love you Hannah!

Hannah all cute and ready for the day!

I decided to cancel Hannah's 1 month doctor appt. Having 3 kids and a 45 min drive one way to the nearest doctor wasn't what I wanted to do. I have no concerns right now- just curious at how much she weighs. My friend told me she would take her girls to Wilburs (our grocery store) to weigh them so I decided to give that a try. Ryan wouldn't go with me- he was embarrased. The scale said 8 pounds. I was shocked. I talked to my friend at the check out and she said they aren't accurate. We weighed her on her scale and she was just over 7 pounds. She has gained a pound and a half in her first month! Good job Hannah!

Hannah's cute legs- they are so tiny but boy have they grown!

Hannah chilling in her boppy enjoying life!

Dallin loves to be right next to Hannah and helping her out. He's a great big brother!

Jacob Ryan

Boy do I just love Jacob! He is such an active 15 month old and always so much fun!

Yes, I usually take his clothes off when he eats- he loves to make a mess!!!

I had to laugh. Jacob just started to do this. He would put his face down and blow and make a cool noise!

This was the smile after he made the cool noise! I love his smile!!

3 weeks

I can't believe Hannah is already 3 weeks today! She is growing and getting bigger and bigger. She is a good, easy going girl! She even puts up with her brothers that love her and want to always give her kisses and see what she's doing. We just love this girl so very much!

Hannah loves her hands up by her face! She's always striking a pose!

Ryan is so cute. I think he gave Jacob maybe 2 baths. He gave Hannah a bath before me. He loves to hold her in the sink and then wants me to wash her. He's such a good dad! He loves Hannah so much!

This made me laugh. I had washed my hair one night and started to blow dry my hair. Hannah was laying on the bed and Ryan was talking to her. Probably 2 seconds after I started to blow dry my hair, Hannah was gone. She was asleep. The vacuum always makes her just sit still too.

Our cute Hannah sleeping!

Hannah wanted to get dressed up one day last week. She's so cute with her flower clip and dress!!

7X7 Bull

Here are some pictures of the bull that I (Ryan) got this last weekend. He is a 7X7 with some cool devil horns. This bull scared me when it came out of no where. I was not expecting this to come out. When I first saw it, he was about 15 yards in front of me. I got so excited. I sat down and waited for him to come behind a tree but he did not move. He was with some cows and they smelt me and they took off. The bull just sat there and than began to walk out and I took a shot. Me, being so excited, could not keep the gun steady and missed the first one and hit him the second and third shot. I did a texas heat shot but it did not hit his heart. It took out his man hood, poor guy. Chris Waters, his wife, and I began to track him in the tameracks in the dark. We jumped it twice and on the third time this bull was not happy with us and it came at us. Chris jumped and dived around me. I held up the gun and put the safety off and was waiting for it to come out. This bull was about 10 feet in front of us but it turned and ran the other direction back into the thick tameracks. After checking our pants, we decided to let him go and we would come back in the morning to get him. He crossed the river and went about 60 yards and layed down. My dad and I went out first thing in the morning to get him. We looked for about 2 hours and then my dad walked right by him and did not see him. It was so thick. He stopped and looked around and then he saw him. He told me that he found him and he was so excited and could not believe how big he was. We got him taken care of and we had no idea how to get him out of there. Thank goodness for Dave Cox, a good friend of my dads from Round Valley, came out and helped us get him out of there. It was a great hunting trip filled with great memories!
