Happy Anniversary

I love you so much Ryan. I can't imagine my life without you. I am so blessed to spend eternity with you. Thanks for always making me smile, making me laugh, and making me the person I am today. These last 2 years have flown by and I know it will keep getting better!! We still get people telling us we look and act like we are newly weds. I can honestly say we have never had a fight or argument. Life is too short to do that. I tell Ryan how I feel, and he does the same to me. We just have a great relationship. That’s one thing I love about Ryan, it’s the way we are able to communicate.
I heard this song the other day by Rascal Flats. The words made me think of Ryan and how much I love him. So I wanted to share.
Every road that I've been down, the only truth that I have found, There's only one thing I can't live without, YOU, I was searching for something I thought I would never find, losing my mind, In and out of bad love, I thought I was born to lose, then came, YOU,

I thought I knew what the real thing was, but nothing shakes me like your love does, I've been hypnotized, now I realize, Every road that I've been down, the only truth that I have found, There's only one thing I can't live without, YOU,

Everytime I get lost in a tempermental mood, you still stay cool, When I think my lifes about to drive me insane, you take the reins, Everytime I feel like I'm drifting off course, your my compass your my one true north, in a mixed up world, you make sense to me.

Every road that I've been down, the only truth that I have found, There's only one thing I can't live without, YOU.
You are my best friend, the love of my life, and the most amazing person I know!! I love you Ryan always and forever!

Easter

Happy Easter to all! On Sat, Ryan's family had an easter get together. We took Kennedy and Hadlee to have fun with us. As you can see, we had lots of fun. Thanks Gary and Stacey for a great afternoon.

Kennedy finally caught the rabbit!

Hadlee really wanted to reach the baby chicks!

Dallin looking for easter eggs!

Kennedy, Ryan, and Dallin loved to ride the four wheeler!

Dallin looking through his bag of goodies! He did get one candy wrapper open and was not happy when I took it away.

The Easter bunny found our house last night! Thanks Nana for the cute surprise on our doorstep and flour bunny tracks leading to our door. You always do the neatest things. We love you!

I did it!

I am so glad it is over!! I can't believe they asked me to do it! I'm not smart enough, I thought! Are you curious?? They asked me to substitute teach the Relief Society lesson yesterday. I know what you are thinking- lucky me. I was terrified but as I got started the time just flew by. I feel good about my lesson on John the Baptist. I got many compliments so that made me feel good too. It was a little tougher of a lesson but I learned so much and many people said they did to. Before I started, the lady that asked me to teach the women of my ward told me she was trying to set it up that I would teach every month. She went out of town and came back last week too late. I got my calling last Sun. I think I would rather be an Achievement Day leader and play with 8 year old girls than stand in front of adults and teach them. But I did it and am proud of myself. For those of you that are mad you didn't know, that was on purpose. I was nervous enough!!

Our Perfect Day

We had a perfect day yesterday. Ryan has been busy lately so we were excited when Sat came up and he didn't have much planned. Yea!! We decided to spend the entire day together as a family. I don't know who needed it more- Ryan or me. We had to first do Sis. Cade's lawn. While we were there a neighbor asked Ryan to do a little work on his yard. It took him 20 min and wasn't hard. While I waited I pulled some weeds. He was so happy he gave us $29- that's what he had. We said Olive Garden here we come for lunch.

After a delicious lunch, we let Dallin play on the playground at the mall. It was fun to watch.

Ryan and I watching our little man.

After playing and Dallin's nap we headed to Fountain Hills to watch the fountain and have dinner. Dallin loved being pushed so he could drink his milk.

Dallin liked watching the fountain going.

Dallin and I trying to not get blown away. Dallin didn't like the wind- it was blowing hard.

Dallin was ready to go- can you tell?
After we had enough of the wind, we drove around and looked at some of the cool houses. Ryan had to decide where we going next. He decided ....

Bass Pro Shop. Dallin loved to finally be free from his car seat and loved walking around and seeing all the fun stuff. He really liked the fish as you can tell.
Our day ended by renting The Bee Movie on our way home. We put Dallin down at 8 and snuggled to watch the movie. We both agreed that Sat was one of the most perfect days our little family has had. We need more days of this!!

Curls, curls, curls

We love the hair on the back of Dallin's head. This is the front of our little man that we love so much!! His smile makes us smile!

And this is the back. Its kind of hard to see but he gets little curls. He gets this from his dad. We think it is so cute!

1st Birthday Party

I know I am a week late but I still wanted to post the few pictures I took at Dallin's 1st birthday party. It was such a nice day to play at the park. Thanks to all of those that came to celebrate and play with us. We love you all. Thanks for all of the books we got. Dallin is starting to look more at books and enjoy them. Look at all the fun books Dallin received at his party- we put them on our bookshelf!

Happy 1st Birthday

Dear Dallin
Your father and I love you so very much. We can not believe you are already 1. As you were placed in our arms 1 year ago today, we knew we had a special little one. We know our Heavenly Father entrusted us to take care of you, love you, teach you, and learn from you. Along this first year, we have had many ups and downs, tears and giggles, triumphs and let downs, but through it all we would not trade it for anything. You have taught us how important our little family is. We love doing things together and seeing you enjoy life. You are a curious little guy who looks things over and over in your hands before you play with it. You love to use your thumb for everything. You push every button you can find with your little thumbs. You amaze us everyday. A few days ago you took your first few steps and now you are off. We are really proud parents. We know you will keep taking steps forward and make us proud everyday. As you get older and older, know that we are always here for you. We love you so much always and forever!!
Love- Mom and Dad
