IT'S A ........

Here I am today at 20 weeks!! Look out my belly is starting to pop out. I told my mom at Christmas I might be huge. It's crazy how almost overnight your belly can pop out. I feel like mine is coming- it's all for a good cause!!

And here's our little GIRL!!!! We are tickled pink Hannah is going to have a best friend! Dallin has been right from the beginning. He has always said it's a girl and even calls her a name. He will tell me no it's - name-. We haven't decided on a name yet. We always have to see our little precious ones before we decide. The boys are so cute and will kiss my belly and tell the baby they love her. I can't wait to see this beautiful girl!! She is right on track and all her measurements match up perfect to my due date of May 6.

Our Lights

This is our first year going to town on outside lights. Last year we had the Thomas the Train blow up and snowmen faces blinking up by our house but Ryan wanted to do more. So, he ordered LED lights for our house. It took a long 2 weeks to finally come all the way from North Carolina- long for Ryan. He was so excited. We got them last night and as soon as Dallin came home from preschool today the boys were outside having fun. I think it looks awesome! And yes, Ryan put an F on our house. He did that when he was younger.

One of my favorite parts of this time of year is looking at Christmas lights. This year has been even more fun hearing 2 cute boys saying pretty and oohing and aawing over all the lights we see. I love our family and the memories we are making!

Thanksgiving Time

Thanksgiving was different this year. Ryan had to work Thanksgiving Day so we didn't travel and didn't spend time with family. But I have to say it was nice just being our family.

Before Thanksgiving, we had to get wood for some families that needed it. Our ward has a huge wood pile and that's one of Ryan's responsibilities- getting wood to those that need it in our ward. The boys always love helping. Dallin was so proud of himself climbing to the top of one pile!!

Then we went home and ate dinner and then got our turkey ready. I was a little worried about doing a turkey all by myself but my friend told me about the Scouts here. They dig a huge hole and you bring your turkey prepared and they bury it and cook it for you overnight. And boy was the turkey good. There was no carving of this turkey. It just fell off the bone and was so juicy and yummy. I didn't get any pictures of our dinner. It was all delicious and the best part was that dinner was the start of Ryan having a couple of days off. He has been so busy lately so we were all ready for some family time. During dinner, we asked the boys what they were thankful for. Dallin said Heavenly Father and Jacob said water. I love these moments!!

The next morning we got up and went to Showlow to do a little Black Friday shopping. The crowds really weren't that bad. Dallin saw this train for under the tree and begged Ryan. He gave in and look who was so happy- both boys were so excited. The train sat between both of them all the way home.

Then when we got home we got the Christmas stuff out. Hannah just loved sitting in all the boxes- her favorite thing to do these days.

Every year Ryan and I have a tradition of getting a new snow globe. These are a few that we have gotten in the last several years. I love this tradition and can't wait in 20 years to have a huge display of our snow globes.

This year we decided our theme for Christmas was trains with buying the train for under the tree and how much the boys love trains right now. This is the snow globe we found for this year. We both saw it and knew right away it was the one. We just need to get a picture of our family for inside the globe.

And the boys love this train scene. It's our 2nd year having it and is one of my favorites. The boys call it the baby train since the train under the tree is big.

I just love this little tree. Grandma gave it to the boys a couple of years ago. They were so excited to decorate it. And this is how the tree ended up. My first thought was to move a few ornaments around so they weren't in one area but this is the boys masterpiece. I look at it and smile. They had so much fun decorating it.

I just love Christmas decorations!!

And here's our Christmas tree with 3 precious kiddos I love so much!

I'm Thankful For

I have so much to be thankful this time of year!! I'm thankful for...
*Ryan- He does so much for me and our little family. He makes me be a better person, puts a smile on my face, rubs my feet, loves me, and cares about me. I love you Ryan always and forever!! I wouldn't be where I am without you!!
* Dallin- This boy is such a fun loving, sweet, smart, energetic boy. He grows and grows and amazes and amazes me all the time. He has a great memory and surprises us all the time with the little things he picks up on. He has a very tender heart and if I have to scold him he comes up to me and tells me he loves me. How can I be upset after that? He loves Jacob and Hannah so much. He is a great big brother!!
*Jacob- oh my Jacob! He loves to be held, LOVES sweets, loves Curious George, and loves Dallin and Hannah! Everytime he gets a treat or snack or drink, he wants one to give to Dallin. He has the cutest smile but is the one that tests my patience the most. I love this boy so much and love our snuggle times!!
*Hannah- She is at a really fun age and I could just watch her all day long. She loves to sit in boxes, carry anything and walk around the house so happy, loves to watch Baby Einstein, baths, and drinking Powerade. Yes, she will always be my Princess and I love her so much for bringing a sweet spirit into our home!
*Little, little one- We are so excited another one will be joining our family!! We are due May 6 and I am 16 weeks along. I am finally feeling better I hope. This time around has been so different than all of my pregnancies. I already feel so close to this little one. We rent a baby heart beat monitor since having a miscarriage at 16 weeks. I listen to the heart beat everyday for my own peace of mind. What a comfort that has been at the end of a long day when Ryan is working nights. I listen to the heart beat and it brings me such peace and joy. This little one, I know, is so excited to join our family. I have had a few cherished experiences I will never forget. We can't wait for this one to join our family too.
*My testimory- I am so thankful for the things I believe in and things that make me stronger. Sometimes when Satan comes along trying to knock me off, my testimony and my faith are the things I hold on to even tighter. I am thankful for always learning and growing so my testimony gets stronger and stronger.
*My Heavenly Father- I am so thankful for my Heavenly Father and the life he has blessed me with today. I am truly blessed to be a mother of 3 (soon to be 4) beautiful children and I have an amazing husband. Sometimes life is hard but in the end I know my Heavenly Father loves me and is here for me if I just get down on my knees.
*My Savior- I am eternally thankful to my Savior. He died for me that I can have my life I have today. I can't wait to hug him and thank him someday for all he has done for me. It have been neat talking to Dallin lately about Jesus and all that he has done for us.

I am thankful for so many more things but those are just a few that I hold dear to my heart right now.

Our Happenings

Life has been busy lately at our house. These are just a few pictures of our fun....

The boys love to build tracks for their trains. Jacob wanted a little one and then he sat in the middle of it. It was so cute!!

Jacob LOVES to swing!

Our happy Princess!

The boys have been loving our sandbox and for the most part play nice together.

Jacob got a huge cookie at the store one day- who wouldn't want one that big??!!

One cool dude!

Hannah got a huge sucker and it made her happy.

Dallin lost his first tooth- a top, front one. He went to the dentist a week later and has healthy teeth!!

Jacob loved searching for pumpkins at the pumpkin patch in Snowflake.

This is our huge pumpkin family! Ry wanted the huge 29 lb one so we all got to pick the one we wanted. As you can see, a few more got to come home with us.

The boys got to build a bear at Build a Bear. Dallin loves his bear and sleeps with it every night!!

Ryan was lucky when he got to snuggle with 2 cute kiddos!!

Hannah got yogurt one day and made a huge mess. Let's just say Ryan was in charge at that time.

We went to a birthday party for our friend's 2 year old. They had a huge pile of leaves. All the kids loved it.

Dallin got a huge hamburger one day for lunch. I was surprised when he ate most of it.

My Hard Working Husband

I just want Ryan to know how much I love and appreciate all that he does for our family!! He is the most amazing man I know- next to my dad!! He has so much on his plate right now and I don't know how he does it all. He currently is doing shift work at SRP working 12 hour shifts and doing nights right now, went to work late tonight because he spoke at a stake training meeting where they asked him to take the night off or go in late, has been working on starting a food storage program for our ward- they are meeting with every elder's family in our ward, oh yea and he is the elder's quorum president.

Along with all that, he is such an awesome Dad and husband. He loves to come home from work and play with the kids. Even though he gets up at 4 am and gets home after 5 he will wrestle with the boys, help make dinner, and make a cute 1 year old smile all night long. He is always so kind and thoughtful. He tells me he loves me all the time and tells me how beautiful I am. He even still opens my door for me. I am so thankful and blessed to be able to spend eternity with this man. He was worth every minute of the 27 years it took me to find him.

I love you so much Ryan Gary always and forever!! I am so proud of you and all that you do. I just want you to know how much I appreciate you!! Thanks for being you!!!

1st Birthday

I can't believe Hannah is already 1. Time sure is flying and we are having fun! Hannah- the Princess- has always been such an easy going, good girl. She is such a laid back Princess!! She has been a good girl even way back at 8 weeks going 10 hours at night and never looking back. That was the greatest present for me. She is so easy going that she didn't care about crawling until 8 months and doesn't have a huge interest in walking. It will come when she is ready. She will walk everywhere while holding onto just 1 finger but as soon as I let go she just drops to her knees and crawls off. She does walk along everything. One day soon she will be off running with her brothers. She has 4 teeth- 2 top and 2 bottom. It was cute- for a while she had only 1 tooth on top. It was precious when she would give us huge smiles with 1 top tooth shining through. I think another top one is close but we will see when it decides to break through. She loves to play with her brothers, play with Daddy, be outside, take baths, watch Baby Einstein, her blankets, and playing with your eyes and nose. Hannah is such a sweet, loving girl! I am so thankful she is in our family!!! We love you so much Hannah Nicole!!

Poor Hannah! She even had to get shots today but got a yummy sucker!

Hannah loves her blanket!!

Hannah found the mud one day and got really dirty but had lots of fun!!

Hannah loves Baby Einstein! She will sit and watch it for a long time!!

We love you Hannah our sweet, precious Princess!! Thanks for blessing our family and for your cute, infectious smile and laugh!

First Day of Preschool

Dallin could hardly wait for today!! It was the first day of preschool! He was even more excited for this year because one of his best friend's, Clara, is in his class. She also is in his primary class. Her mom and I are crossing fingers they get in the same kindergarten class. He has talked about preschool for the last couple of days. So when he got up this morning, of course, the first thing he said was "It's preschool day!!!" It wasn't even a big deal for me to leave him. I can't wait to hear all about his fun, first day of preschool!!

We love you Dallin Gary!!! Don't grow up too fast!

One Fun Vacation

Last Tuesday we headed off as a family to Flagstaff to have some fun. We got a good, cheap hotel for 1 night. I was ready to do whatever we decided to do as a family. A little into our drive, Ryan and I started to talk about Vegas. I thought it would be so much fun and the boys would love Circus Circus. Well after talking about it for a little bit we decided to turn our 1 night Flagstaff fun into 1 night in Flagstaff and 2 nights in Laughlin. We decided to do Laughlin because it was 2 and half hours from Flag and cheaper than Vegas. We hadn't been there but was hoping it would be as much fun as Vegas. We never do anything like this and we were excited!!! While in Flagstaff, we all got new swimsuits. The best part was finding great deals since it's the end of summer. We booked our room at Harrah's in Lauglin and both of us laughed and kept saying we never do this. While in Flagstaff, we had heard about this cool deer farm. You can feed the deer and we knew the boys would love this. It was really fun and neat to be so upclose to some animals. Jacob was scared of the deer coming near him. He kept saying "Go away deer farm" to all the deer. Ryan and I just kept laughing.

There was cool bird in this cage that kept talking to the kids. Dallin was very unsure of it at the beginning. But he warmed up to it and kept saying hello to it.

Hannah loved the mirror in the hotel. That was her favorite thing to do while in the room. She would get so excited. We need to find a place at our house to put a mirror on the wall. She loved it that much!

Happy kiddos!!

Hannah sleeping!

Harrah's had a little beach you could get to from the hotel. It was lots of fun but the water was freezing.

Hannah loved the sand. She was in heaven putting her hands in it and playing.

Ryan was so excited to go see the London Bridge. It took us about an hour and a half to get there but it was neat to see. It was a hot day so we didn't stay as long as thought we would.

Us by the London Bridge!

After we got back from seeing the bridge, Dallin was so excited to ride a boat. This is the boys feeding ducks waiting for the boat.

The boat ride was super fun. Dallin had to sit right next to me and wanted my arm around him. He was a little unsure but he loved it. He kept talking about the boat ride the rest of the day.

This might have been one of the boys favorite things we did. They called it bowling. It was fun watching them because half of the time the ball never made it up. They could have bowled all day long.

We ate at Chili's 2 nights in a row. We all LOVE Chili's. The boys were really good at dinner. Dallin got a hamburger and orange slices both nights and ate it all. Jacob got a pizza with fries both nights. They didn't want anything different. They were happy and so were we!!!

This was a fun, memorable vacation. Our kids traveled so well. I was always worried to do this, but I have to say it wasn't a big deal for our kids. Hannah was a trooper and took her naps in her carseat or stroller but it never seemed to bother her. She proved again she is an easy going, good girl! We all had so much fun and decided Vegas was next on our vacation list!!!
