We were so lucky to have a visit from Ryan's grandparents. We love them so much and had fun visiting with them. They were here for the 24th fun. Grandma Nelda got to ride in a float for the parade since she graduated in 1951 from the high school here. We love you Grandma and Grandpa!!

Sleeping
I was so impressed with our boys and sleeping at my parents house. My sister and her 3 kids were in town from North Carolina so my parents house was FULL!!! But it all worked out well and wasn't too crazy. We put both boys on this mattress and Jacob really impressed me. He is still in a crib because I'm not ready for him coming into our room 10 times a night. He's not a great sleeper and I know that's what will happen. The boys share a room so they were used to each other. Maybe Jacob will get a big boy bed soon!!
Swimming
When we were in the Valley a week ago we had fun swimming with Ryan's family. I didn't think Dallin would get in because he is scared of the water. But we got him in and he loved it. He was so proud of himself and kept saying "Look at me, I'm swimming!" Jacob also loved to go swimming. He just wanted to stay with Ryan at first but ventured off to others. Hannah was in heaven with her huge bath tub. She splashed and splashed and kicked and kicked. That's what she does in bath every night.

Chili Dinner
You gotta love stake callings!! St. Johns always does a fun July 24 weekend of celebration. The stake hands out callings so everything gets done. Last year we were cochairs of the parade and this year we were in charge of the chili dinner which is Thursday night and kind of the first thing to the weekend. I had a few young women help make lots and lots of cornbread, we had to set up, and serve 600+ people and then clean up. Let's just say I was exhausted when yesterday was all done. We spent 4 hours doing the cornbread in the morning and then 5 hours serving and cleaning up. Luckily the stake took care of making the chili. The hardest part was having 2 kids to take care of while making sure everything went smoothly for the serving. We have awesome ym and yw so I wasn't too worried. Dallin went with some friends but Jacob wouldn't leave me. He has always been attached to me. Nursery is still a struggle for him. I thought I had lost him 1 time but found him. Ryan had to drive a truck back and forth from the school and the park to bring hot chili and other things we needed. It was a busy night but went pretty well. We both got a huge drink when we were done and went home to put our feet up!!

10 months
Last Wednesday Hannah turned 10 months! Our sweet Princess is so much fun. She got her first tooth about a week ago and her 2nd bottom tooth is starting to come in now. She loves to hold on to our fingers and walk everywhere, loves to play with the boys, loves to watch Baby Einstein, LOVES her daddy, and loves exploring the world. She just recently found the toilet- yea for that one! She went to the doctor last Fri and she is 19 pounds- 50%- and her length is 29 inches- 75%. We think she is perfect in every way! We love her so much! She is such a sweet, easy going girl that has mellowed me out. Ryan stresses and worries more than me now! Hannah is now going through the attachment stage. She doesn't like anyone else to hold her. She just looks at me like mom why aren't you holding me. But she knows she's okay and squirms to get out of those arms and back to mine. I love this girl so much and can't wait to see the beautiful girl she will become!
